Michael Beesley has a strong background in technology and software development. Michael currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Card Compliant since 2022. Previously, they worked at SMG - Service Management Group for over 15 years, starting in 2007. During their tenure at SMG, they held various roles including Vice President of Engineering, Director of Technology Development, and Development Manager. In these positions, they oversaw product engineering, provided thought leadership, managed budgets and processes, and led high-performing teams. Michael also played a vital role in defining technology strategies aligned with business objectives and establishing technology partnerships. Prior to SMG, Michael worked as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Technical Team Lead, and Technical Architect, where they independently designed and developed software solutions that significantly improved efficiency and automation for the organization.
Michael Beesley completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology at Fort Hays State University from 2003 to 2006. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Data Analytics at The University of Kansas from 2015 to 2017.
