Wesley Story

Wesley Story is the current CIO at Genesys. Wesley has previously worked as an Enterprise Strategist at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from January 2020 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Interim Global CIO/CTO at Sysco from January 2013 to December 2020. Wesley has also served as the Group Vice President, Customer Insights & Loyalty at SUPERVALU from December 2010 to May 2013. From September 2008 to November 2010, they were the Director, Innovations & Marketing Systems at Wal-Mart. Wesley Story began their career in IT Solutions Delivery at Sprint in September 1999 and has held various other positions there until August 2008.

Special interests and skills in the following areas: technology strategy and architecture, legacy/mainframe modernization and cloud migrations, scaling e-commerce, big data platforms and analytics, AI/ML, IoT, microservices, Agile, and DevOps.

Wesley Story has a bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems from Ottawa University and a certification from Cornell University in Executive Leadership Certificate.
