Devin Sparrow

Devin Sparrow has a diverse work experience in the fields of copy editing, email and web development, and community hosting. They started their career as a Copywriter at zulily in 2011 and later became a Copy Editor and Copy Lead at the same company. In 2013, Devin joined Oracle | Responsys as an Email & Web Developer, where they coded responsive and static emails for high-profile brands and also worked as a Copywriter, conceptualizing and writing email campaigns. They then worked at Catalysis as a Jr. Front-End Developer, coding responsive emails and landing pages for Microsoft and integrating platform-specific coding languages. In 2018, Devin worked as an Email Developer at Rover.com and as a Copy Editor at Zillow Group, where they edited various types of copy and coached writers on voice and tone. Most recently, Devin worked as a Community Host at Card Kingdom Inc, hosting gaming events and creating a welcoming environment for players.

Devin Sparrow completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at Gonzaga University from 2005 to 2009. Later, in 2012 and 2013, Devin obtained a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington. Additionally, Devin earned a certification in "Build Front-End Web Apps from Scratch" from Codecademy in December 2017.
