Nishant Iyer

Nishant Iyer has significant work experience in the technology industry. Nishant is currently the Founder of Portena, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Plutus Developer and HPC Cloud Resource market analyzer at Cardano Community starting in September 2022.

Before joining Cardano Community, Nishant worked as a Developer for the Ethereum Network from February 2021 to February 2023.

Additionally, from January 2018 to May 2021, Nishant gained valuable experience as an Open Source Developer. During this time, they contributed to various modules, frameworks, and Linux distributions. Nishant actively participated in online communities, collaborating with other developers and making meaningful contributions to the open-source software community.

Nishant Iyer attended Genesis International School, Madinaguda for Class 10. In 2020, they enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to study Blockchain Applications and Deep DeFi, completing their studies in 2022. In the same year, they started studying Computer Architecture at Princeton University. Nishant also pursued various online courses, including Fundamentals of Java, Java Servlets, JDBC, J2EE, Server Side Engineering at Pirple, Applied Ethical Hacking and Rules of Engagement at Udemy Alumni, and Networks and Communications Security at (ISC)².
