Sebastian Bode

Sebastian Bode has worked in a variety of roles over the past 18 years. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as a Softwaredeveloper at Media Seasons. In 2008, they began working as a Junior Software Developer at Ubisoft Blue Byte GmbH. From 2009 to 2014 they worked as a Research Engineer at Technische Universität Braunschweig. From 2014 to 2020, they worked as a Team Manager and Development Engineer (Software) at IAV GmbH. Since 2020, they have been employed at Volkswagen Financial Services as a Data Engineer, Cloud Developer and IT-Projektleiter. Sebastian is currently the Director Of Engineering and Metadata Tools Team Lead at Cardano Foundation.

Sebastian Bode began their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from HTWK Leipzig between 2003 and 2006. Sebastian then continued their studies at the same institution, graduating with a Master of Science in Computer Science in 2008. In 2009, they began their doctoral studies at Technische Universität Braunschweig, earning a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Air Traffic Management in 2014. Sebastian also holds a certification from Google as a mentor for the Google Summer of Code 2017.
