Katie Kraan

Katie Kraan is a behavioral scientist with extensive experience in specialized youth care. Currently serving as a behavioral scientist at Cardea since July 2025, Katie previously worked as a junior behavioral scientist and participated in a training trajectory at Forensisch centrum Teylingereind from July 2019 to July 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a pedagogical staff member at Intermetzo and as a research employee and trainee in youth care research at Prodeba B.V. and various organizations. Katie holds a master's degree in Forensic Pedagogics from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a minor in Expanded Orthopedagogics, as well as a master's degree in Youth Studies and a bachelor's degree in General Social Sciences from Utrecht University.
