Alexis Chettiar

Chief Executive Officer at Cardea Health

Alexis Chettiar currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Cardea Health since February 2021. Prior experience includes the position of Interim Medical Director for Project Roomkey at Alameda County, where programming at Roomkey and Homekey sites was developed in partnership with a co-interim director. As Vice President of Clinical Operations at the Center for Elders' Independence, Alexis was responsible for population health outcomes and regulatory compliance across multiple service areas. Alexis also held the role of Director of Quality Improvement and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at East Bay Nephrology Medical Group, enhancing care delivery systems for ESRD patients. Prior nursing experience includes critical care at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, volunteer work in Malaysia, and various roles in travel nursing. Alexis holds a Ph.D. in Health Policy from the University of California, San Francisco, a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, and an ADN from White Mountain College.
