Rita Casimiro

Rita Casimiro has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Rita started their career as a Biomedical Engineer at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2000 and worked there until 2005. Rita then pursued a Master's degree in Clinical Engineering at the same institution from 2005 to 2007.

In 2008, Rita worked as a Product Manager at Multinfor Medical Equipment until 2009 when they joined Deutsches Herzzentrum München as a Cardio Vascular Perfusionist. Rita held this role for three years until 2012.

Rita's next position was at APICA Cardiovascular Ltd, a medical device start-up, where they worked as a Clinical Specialist for the DACH region from January 2014 to December 2014. Rita was responsible for managing workshops, supervising clinical procedures, and collecting clinical data.

From 2015 to 2016, Rita worked as a Clinical Specialist, EMEA at Thoratec, which later became a part of St. Jude Medical. During this time, they specialized in the European, Middle Eastern, and African regions.

Rita's most recent role is at Cardiac Dimensions, where they began as a Clinical Specialist in September 2016 and later transitioned to the position of an Account Manager in May 2018, which they currently hold.

Rita Casimiro's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Rita pursued a Master of Clinical & Biomedical Engineering and studied Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies. Rita completed their degree in 2007.

In 2008, Rita attended Catholic University Portuguese in Lisboa for a postgraduate degree in Marketing and Finance. Their time at the university lasted for a year.
