Tim Johnson

Tim Johnson has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Tim is currently working at Cardiac Dimensions as the Director of Technology, leading the R&D department since December 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of R&D Manager since December 2014. Tim has also worked at Timmertech as a Consultant since December 2008. From October 2013 to December 2014, they served as a Sr. Engineer at Olympus Respiratory America, where they provided design input to new products and contributed to patent applications. Tim has also worked at Cardiac Dimensions as a Sr. R&D Engineer from March 2010 to March 2013, at Cardiometrix as a Sr. R&D Engineer from February 2006 to April 2008, and at Advanced Cochlear Systems as an R&D Engineer/Sr. Project Engineer from January 2001 to February 2006. Their earlier experience includes working as a Sr. R&D Engineering Technician at Boston Scientific: Northwest Technology Center from July 1996 to September 2000.

Tim Johnson received a BS degree in Physics from Western Washington University, although the specific years of their education are unknown.
