Shelly Gebert has over 20 years of work experience in the research and development field. Shelly began their career in 2000 at Agtech Products, Inc. where they held the roles of Group Coordinator - Poultry R&D and Project Scientist. In 2010, they joined DuPont as a Scientist and held additional roles of Project Manager and Assistant Scientist. Her research at DuPont focused on the interaction of plant growth promoting bacteria and their association with the plant rhizosphere and overall impact on plant performance. In 2016, Shelly moved to Agro BioSciences, Inc. as a Research & Development. Currently, Shelly is the R&D Director and Application Support Manager at Third Wave Bioactives, leading the R&D efforts in researching novel, microbial-based fermentates as clean label ingredients that can provide flavor and natural shelf-life solutions for food manufacturers. Shelly also provides support for customers in the application of their ingredients into their food products and coordinates shelf-life studies.
Shelly Gebert completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee between 1997 and 2000.
