Cristina Raad has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Cristina started their career as a Teacher Assistant at Kalamazoo College in 1994. Following that, they interned as a News Producer at Telemundo and as a Feature Writer at New York Daily News in 1995. In 1996, they worked as an Editor and Coordinator at Diario Hoy. Cristina then served as a Freelance Director's Assistant and Translator at Pausoka in 2003 and later as a Production Assistant and Translator (Voluntary) at Amnesty International from 2004 to 2005. Cristina also worked as a Freelance Script Editor, Scriptwriter, and Translator at ITV from 2001 to 2004. In 2005, Cristina took on the role of a Freelance Writer and Revista Dinners at Diario Hoy. At Cardiff and Vale College, they worked as a Learning Advisor from 2005 to 2006 and as a Learner Advisor from 2006 to 2010. From 2007 to the present, they have taken up the role of a Film & Media Lecturer and a Digital Learning Leader at the same college. In 2012, Cristina worked as a Child Welfare & Safe Guarding Officer at CHISPA until 2014.

From 1991 to 1994, they attended Universidad San Francisco de Quito and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism Communication.
From 1998 to 2000, they pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Screenwriting for Film & TV at the University of Bergen (UiB).
In 2003 and 2004, Cristina Raad attended City, University of London and completed a Diploma in Translation English - Spanish.
Between 2006 and 2008, they undertook a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Wales Newport, specializing in Education.
