Daniel Overton FCCA has a strong background in finance and accounting with over 13 years of work experience. Daniel started their career at The International Baccalaureate, where they worked as an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. Daniel then moved on to roles as an Accounts Assistant at DTZ and Rocialle, also on a temporary basis. In 2008, Daniel joined Atradius as an Assistant Accountant, where they managed various financial accounting responsibilities including cashbook management, bank reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations. Daniel also performed cash-flow forecasting and reporting for the UK and Ireland teams.

Daniel then transitioned to Moorhouse Group as a Financial Accountant. In this role, they were responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations. Daniel also oversaw accounts payable and handled various tasks related to fixed asset management, MI reporting, and payroll.

Currently, Daniel is employed at Cardiff and Vale College, where they hold the position of Finance Business Partner (Deputy Head of Finance). Daniel previously served as a Finance Business Partner and Management Accountant at the same institution. In these roles, they have been responsible for providing financial insights and support to the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting in financial planning and budgeting processes.
