Wayne Carter

Wayne Carter has extensive experience in educational leadership and community engagement, currently serving as the Head of Department for Widening Participation at Cardiff and Vale College since October 2012. In addition to this role, Wayne has held positions as Head of Preparation for Work Life and Learning, Deputy Head of Department for Widening Participation, and Social Engagement and Community Collaboration Manager. Prior to this, Wayne managed the Penrhys Partnership from September 1993 to October 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Community Regeneration from the University of South Wales, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from North East Wales Institute, and a Diploma in Management Studies from the University of South Wales.
