Elizabeth Fitzgerald

Elizabeth Fitzgerald is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and partnership support. Currently serving as Business Development & Partnership Officer at Cardiff Capital Region since January 2018, Elizabeth has also held positions such as Cabinet and Partnership Support Officer and Programme Support Officer during a secondment. Prior to this, Elizabeth contributed to the South East Wales Learning, Skills and Innovation Partnership as a Programme Support Officer from July 2015 to January 2018. Elizabeth's career includes various administrative roles across renowned organizations, including the Welsh Local Government Association and the National Offender Management Service. An academic achiever, Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from Cardiff University, alongside Master’s and Bachelor's degrees from The Open University.
