Hrjinder Singh is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience in public sector finance. Currently serving as the Head of Finance, Risk & Assurance at Cardiff Capital Region since August 2019, Hrjinder Singh previously held various roles at the City of Cardiff Council, including Accountancy Manager for Major Projects and Interim Project Director for the Collaborative PPP Residual Waste Project. Responsibilities encompassed providing comprehensive financial advice, leading procurement processes, and ensuring financial due diligence for major investment decisions. Hrjinder Singh’s educational background includes qualifications from the University of Glamorgan in Chartered Public Finance and Accountancy, as well as the Association of Accounting Technicians.
