Olaide Omikunle

Olaide Omikunle is currently a Catering Assistant at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where responsibilities include maintaining high food safety standards and providing excellent customer service. Previously, Olaide served as a Sustainability Intern, focusing on promoting eco-friendly practices and organizing outreach events. Additional roles include Student Ambassador and Student Content Creator. Olaide also works as a Health and Safety Advisor for the MS Society, conducting risk assessments and investigating workplace incidents. As a Food Waste Hero for Olio, significant efforts are dedicated to rescuing surplus food and promoting sustainability. Olaide holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Osun State University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Occupational Safety, Health, and Wellbeing at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
