Jacqueline Shiel

Jacqueline Shiel is a highly experienced professional in the field of bioinformatics and biocuration, currently serving as a Senior Professional Specialist at Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd since February 2022, after previously holding the position of Professional Specialist in the same area. From September 2018 to October 2023, Jacqueline was the Director at Ebikebrum, and prior to that, worked as a Wellbeing Co-ordinator at Creative Care Support Solutions from January 2016 to July 2018, focusing on improving the well-being of care users. Jacqueline's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Genetics and Zoology, both from Swansea University, with studies completed in 2003 and 2001, respectively.
