Johannes Benedikt

Johannes Benedikt serves as the Deputy Head at the School of Engineering and Director of International at Cardiff University since October 2000, focusing on establishing partnerships with universities to enhance international collaborations in teaching and research, particularly through joint-degree programs and new research links. As a Research Professor, Johannes specializes in nonlinear measurement systems for RF device characterization and modeling, with an emphasis on high-speed measurement systems for semiconductor device manufacturing. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, and Postdoctoral Researcher, where research centered on time-domain measurements for RF devices. Johannes was also the Chief Technology Officer at Mesuro Ltd from October 2008 to January 2015, where responsibilities included business development, investor relations, and team building, focusing on market development in Japan. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in High Frequency Engineering from Cardiff University and an Engineer’s Degree in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology from Ulm University.
