Katerina Kaouri

Katerina Kaouri serves as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and has held various positions at Cardiff University, including Reader in Applied Mathematics and Director for Impact and Engagement. With extensive experience in supervising research and promoting mathematical modeling in biomedical and interdisciplinary applications, Katerina has contributed significantly to several organizations, such as the Newton Gateway to Mathematics as a Scientific Advisory Panel member and the UK Knowledge Exchange Hub for Mathematical Sciences as a Knowledge Exchange Champion. Katerina co-founded SciCo Cyprus, a non-profit focused on science communication, and led initiatives like the European Study Groups with Industry in Cyprus. Academic credentials include a DPhil from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing, along with degrees from prestigious institutions such as Columbia University and the University of Cambridge.
