Katy Thomas is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a career spanning over two decades in higher education and public relations. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Cardiff University since February 2020, Katy previously held various roles at the University of South Wales from November 2006 to February 2020, including Recruitment Events Manager, Campus Marketing Manager, and International Officer. Katy’s experience encompasses managing marketing strategies for academic courses, organizing recruitment events, and enhancing student recruitment from international markets. Previous positions include roles as a Press Officer for Cardiff County Council, Marketing & PR Officer at Barry College, and PR Coordinator & Copywriter for the Welsh Development Agency.
