Mark Humphries

Mark Humphries is an experienced professional in bid development and project management, currently serving as a Senior Bid Developer at Cardiff University since January 2020, where responsibilities include leading complex multi-partner projects aligned with the university's strategic objectives. Prior to this role, Mark was the Head of the Accelerate Programme at Life Sciences Hub Wales, overseeing a £24 million initiative to enhance innovation in health and care. Mark's career also includes positions at Cardiff University as a Technical Manager, the University of Birmingham as both Programme Manager and Project Manager for substantial research projects, and roles in the pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors at Syngenta, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, and SmithKline Beecham. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Science from the University of Bath.
