James Barnett

James Barnett has extensive experience in corporate law and finance, currently serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Cardinal Health since June 2003, where responsibilities include securities and corporate governance, SEC reporting, executive compensation, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting. Prior to this role, James was an Associate Attorney at Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP from September 1999 to June 2003, focusing on securities and general corporate law. James began a career in finance as a Relationship Manager at Bank One from October 1992 to August 1996, handling negotiation, financing, and credit evaluations for loan requests. James holds a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (1996-1999) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University (1988-1992).
