Jessica L. Mayer

As chief legal and compliance officer at Cardinal Health, Jessica Mayer is responsible for overseeing the company's Legal, Ethics and Compliance and Quality and Regulatory departments.

In her role, Mayer leads all aspects of the Cardinal Health legal and compliance departments including oversight of the company’s Litigation, Corporate Securities, Mergers & Acquisitions, Quality and Regulatory, and Commercial teams. She also serves as the chief advisor to the company’s executive management team and Board of Directors on all legal, strategic, transactional, regulatory and commercial matters. Prior to her current role, Mayer served as Cardinal Health’s corporate secretary and deputy general counsel, leading the company’s legal department.

Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Mayer was an attorney with Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington D.C., where her practice focused on pharmaceutical products liability litigation. Before that, Mayer practiced commercial litigation in the Rocky Mountain region.

She currently serves as chairperson of the board of directors for the Cardinal Health Political Action Committee and chair of the Cardinal Health Foundation Board.

Mayer is a cum laude graduate of Vassar College and a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law.
