John Martin

John Martin is an accomplished tax executive with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Tax at Cardinal Health since April 2019. Prior to this role, John was the Vice President of Tax Operations at the same company. John's experience includes serving as the Sr. Director and Global Tax Reporting & Compliance Leader at Walmart from December 2014 to November 2018, and as the Global Tax Controller for the Americas at GE Capital from May 2011 to December 2014. John began their career at Ernst & Young, where a tenure from October 1994 to May 2011 encompassed various positions including Senior Manager in tax roles at different locations. John holds a BBA and MPA in Tax from the Texas McCombs School of Business, where studies took place between 1989 and 1994.
