Tirth Upadhyay

Tirth Upadhyay is a seasoned Principal Engineer in Quality Engineering with extensive experience in medical device manufacturing, currently positioned at Cardinal Health since November 2021. Responsibilities include supporting quality aspects of both drug and non-drug combo products, leading investigations into non-conformances and complaints, and overseeing both internal and external audits. Tirth also manages entry-level engineers and contractors while spearheading projects focused on nonconformance and scrap reduction. Previously, Tirth held roles at Zimmer Biomet, where coaching on CAPA investigations and problem-solving processes was emphasized, and as a contract Manufacturing Engineer, implementing process improvements in CNC machining. Tirth began the career as an Engineering Intern at the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute and has a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
