Eric Serge Uwimana

Eric Serge Uwimana is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and teaching. Currently serving as a software engineer at Cardinal Peak since September 2021, Eric has previously held positions at WiredIn Rwanda and Data Systems Ltd., where notable projects included the development of an Android learning platform and a tender management system. Eric's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from Mount Kenya University. Additionally, Eric has experience as an assistant lecturer at Rwanda Polytechnic - IPRC Tumba, where contributions included developing a Student Information Management platform. Previous roles as a graduate teaching assistant at Carnegie Mellon University and as a teaching assistant at the University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies further underscore Eric's commitment to education and mentoring in the field of technology and software engineering.
