John Bright, MA, RPA, GISP

John Bright, MA, RPA, GISP has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. John is currently the owner of JBH Offshore and the Research Operations Manager at Cardinal Point Captains, Inc. John previously held the position of Principal Developer at MagTool.

Prior to their current roles, John worked as an Operations Supervisor at CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. and as a Research Operations Specialist at Cardinal Point Captains, Inc. John also served as an Archaeologist at the National Park Service and as a Scuba Diving Instructor at Outer Banks Dive Center and East Carolina University. Additionally, they gained experience as an Assistant Diving Safety Officer at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island.

John has a strong background in research operations, diving safety, and project management, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

John Bright, MA, RPA, GISP pursued their undergraduate education in Biology, General, at East Carolina University from 2004 to 2008. John then went on to complete their Master of Arts in Maritime Studies at the same university from 2009 to 2012.
