Michiel Winter

Michiel Winter is a seasoned cardiologist with extensive experience in eHealth, telemonitoring, and artificial intelligence applications within cardiology. Currently serving as a cardiologist at Amsterdam UMC since May 2016, Michiel also holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Cardiologie Centra Nederland while managing cardiology services at multiple Amsterdam UMC locations. Prior to these roles, Michiel completed a fellowship in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging at Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato and has a comprehensive background in various medical residencies, including a PhD focused on the systemic right ventricle. Michiel's education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Amsterdam and an executive course in Medical Management from SDA Bocconi, among other academic pursuits.
