Dr. Steffen Rump

Dr. Steffen Rump has held several positions throughout their career. In 2010, they worked as a Postdoc at Technische Universität Braunschweig. Following that, they were a Postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard Medical School - BWH in Boston, MA (USA) from September 2010 to March 2011. In 2012, they joined VPM GmbH, where they served as a Project Manager and later as the Quality Assurance Manager until January 2017. From February 2017 onwards, Dr. Rump worked at ulbrich&partner Management Consulting as a Partner, primarily focusing on translational project management in the biotechnological and pharmaceutical industry. In February 2017, they also started working as a Project Management Consultant at SRConsulting. Their most recent role is as the Vice President of Operations at Cardior Pharmaceuticals, where they started in February 2023.

Dr. Steffen Rump pursued their education in Biology at the Technische Universität Braunschweig. Dr. Steffen obtained a Diplom degree in Biology from 2002 to 2006. Later, they furthered their studies and earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Biology from 2006 to 2009, still at the same institution.
