Kellie Walters has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Kellie began their career as a Meteorologist at KPLC in 2006 and worked there until 2011. Kellie then moved on to Terrebonne General Medical Center, where they served as a Marketing Coordinator from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Louisiana's Cajun Bayou Tourism as a Marketing Communications Manager, a position they held until 2020. Currently, they serve as the Director of Marketing at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South.
Kellie Walters earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from The University of Louisiana at Monroe, which they attended from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained a Travel Marketing Professional certification from the Southeast Tourism Society in March 2019.
