Aref Obagi

Aref Obagi serves as the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Director at Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital Arlington since February 2024 and holds the position of Interventional Cardiologist at HeartPlace since August 2022. Previous experience includes completion of an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at UF Health Jacksonville from July 2021 to August 2022, and roles at Jersey Shore University Medical Center from July 2015 to June 2021, including Chief Cardiology Fellow, Cardiology Fellow, and Internal Medicine Resident. Aref Obagi also gained research experience as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Cardiology Department at Emory University Hospital from August 2014 to May 2015. Aref Obagi earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Aleppo between 2007 and 2014.
