Rikesh Patel is a seasoned General and Interventional Cardiologist at HeartPlace, a position held since August 2014. Prior experience includes completing a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at The Mount Sinai Hospital from July 2013 to June 2014 and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at UT Health San Antonio from July 2010 to June 2013. Rikesh Patel also trained as a resident in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center from June 2007 to June 2010. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Baylor College of Medicine, earned from 2003 to 2007, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Anthropology and Religious Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, obtained from 1999 to 2003.
