Jane Brink Olsen

Jane Brink Olsen has extensive work experience in various industries. Jane began their career in 2002, working in different companies as an evening manager, chef assistant, café and restaurant waitress, and bakery assistant. In 2006, they worked as a destination manager, ski instructor, and tour guide for Højmark Rejser and Bravo Tours. Here, they were responsible for economy and accounts, daily management of staff, weekly event planning, arrival and departure coordination, and negotiating agreements to benefit Danish guests. In 2010, they worked as a project assistant for Food+design, where they were responsible for meeting preparation, planning, organizing and logistic. In 2013, they worked as a junior designer at Vert Design, engaging in a foreign design studio, learning new workflows and understanding differences in culture and design approaches. Additionally, they worked as an exhibition assistant for The Danish Trade Council, Sydney - Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark, where their central role was to be the welcoming “face” of the Danish design exhibition. In 2014, they worked as a UX Designer for Cogniance. From 2015-2021, they worked as a Senior UX Designer and Senior UX Specialist for Tradeshift and Cardlay A/S, respectively.

Jane Brink Olsen attended Aalborg University from 2008 to 2014. Jane obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering; Architecture and Design in 2011, and a Master of Science (MSc) - cand. polyt. in Industrial Design in 2014.
