Sebastian Daberdaku

Sebastian Daberdaku has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sebastian has worked as a Senior Data Engineer at CARDO AI since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SORINT.tek as a Senior Data Scientist & Engineer from May 2020 to September 2022.

Sebastian also has teaching experience at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova. Sebastian served as a Lecturer in charge of the Computer Engineering Laboratory course from October 2019 to January 2021, and previously from October 2018 to October 2019. Sebastian was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the same department from September 2013 to September 2018.

Additionally, Sebastian worked as a Post-doc Researcher at the University of Padova in different departments. Sebastian conducted research on data mining from environmental, genetic, and clinical variables in ALS from July 2019 to May 2020. Sebastian also worked on post-doc research projects involving data mining and machine learning methods in controls and ALS patients using environmental, clinical, and genetic data from January 2018 to July 2019, as well as from February 2016 to December 2017.

Sebastian's academic pursuits include being a PhD Candidate at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova from January 2013 to November 2016. Sebastian was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mathematics, University of Padova from September 2013 to September 2015.

Sebastian Daberdaku has a strong educational background in the field of computer engineering and information engineering. Sebastian completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova in 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution, which they completed in 2012. During their time at Università degli Studi di Padova, Sebastian also attended Collegio Universitario Don Nicola Mazza from 2007 to 2012.

In 2012, Sebastian participated in an LLP Erasmus IP program at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, where they focused on Secure Web Applications. This program provided him with valuable knowledge and skills in the field of Computer Science.

Sebastian then continued their education by enrolling in a Ph.D. program at Università degli Studi di Padova, specializing in Information Engineering. Sebastian successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Sebastian has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Sebastian obtained a license to practice the profession of Information Engineer from Università degli Studi di Padova in 2013. Sebastian also earned certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021, Elastic Certified Analyst from Elastic in 2021, and Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals from Databricks in 2022. Sebastian's achievements include receiving the Codility Golden Award for the Technetium 2019 Challenge from Codility in 2019.
