Evgeniy Finkel

Evgeniy Finkel is an experienced engineer specializing in algorithm development and digital signal processing. Currently serving as an Algorithm and Audio DSP Engineer at Cardo Systems, Ltd since May 2021, Evgeniy focuses on creating a voice activity detection algorithm tailored for noisy environments, along with resampling and gain control solutions. Previously, Evgeniy worked for CONTROP Precision Technologies Ltd. from May 2012 to April 2021, contributing as a Motion Control & DSP Engineer and an RT Embedded Engineer, where responsibilities included the development of motion control systems and advanced signal-processing algorithms for stabilized observation payloads. Earlier experience at SPECTRONIX involved the implementation of WirelessHART communication protocols as an RT Embedded Engineer. Evgeniy holds an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, obtained in 2008.
