Victor Wang has had a varied and impressive work experience. Victor began their career in 2006 as an Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Officer for the Canadian Forces. In 2008, they worked as a Reliability Engineer for Suncor Energy. In 2009, Victor worked as a Mechatronics Design Engineer (Medical Devices) at The University of British Columbia - Robotics & Controls Lab. In 2011, they were an Executive Committee Member (Volunteer) for the MIT Graduate Student Council and in 2010 they were a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant for the MIT Department of Mechanical Engineering. In 2012, Victor was the Founder of GeriJoy and an Entrepreneur for Blueprint Health LLC. From 2015 to 2021, they were the CEO of care.coach, and since 2021 they have been an LP for Mana Ventures and StartUp Health.

Victor Wang began their educational journey in 2005 when they attended The University of British Columbia, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Option, with a Minor in Commerce, through the Co-op Program. In 2010, they continued their studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a Master of Science - MS in SMME in Control, Instrumentation, and Robotics. In 2011, they attended Harvard Business School, studying Strategy & Technology (Prof. Andrei Hagiu). Victor also attended Stanford University that same year, taking Peter Norvig, Sebastian Thrun & Andrew Ng's seminal MOOCs in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. In 2014, they earned a Certificate from the Alzheimer's Association in CARES EssentiALZ (Dementia Care). In 2016, they earned a Certificate from the University of Maine in Emergency Care of Patients with Dementia and Delirium, a Certificate from Partners HealthCare in Basic Skills and Clinical Applications of Motivational Interviewing, and a Certificate from PCSS-MAT in Motivational Interviewing for Medication-Assisted Therapy. Finally, in 2022, they are slated to earn a Black Belt Certificate from Six Sigma Academy Amsterdam in Lean Six Sigma.
