Michelle Sophia Israel

Michelle Sophia Israel, L.C.S.W.-R, is a seasoned clinician and transformational leader with extensive experience in behavioral health and social work. Currently serving as a Clinician and Transformational Leader at Unlimited Solutions WMW, LLC since September 2020 and as Director of Behavioral Health at Care Design New York since November 2019, Michelle has a profound commitment to advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities. Previous roles include Director of Residential Services and Deputy Director of Community Services at Birch Family Services, where Michelle led various residential programs and community services initiatives. With a solid foundation in education as an Adjunct Lecturer at City University of New York from 2007 to November 2019, Michelle developed innovative curricula while supporting student learning. Additional experience spans positions at METRO COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS INC and YAI, where Michelle emphasized advocacy and coordination of behavioral health services. Michelle holds a Master of Social Work from Adelphi University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College.
