Eranda Vidanage

Eranda Vidanage has worked in the finance industry since 2012. In 2012, they began as a Finance Intern at John Keells Holdings PLC, working under Jay Kay Marketing Services. In 2013, they moved to Suncity Developers (Pvt) Ltd as an Accounts Assistant, where they gained experience in contract accounting, balance sheet activities, bank reconciliations, and petty cash handling. In 2014, they joined John Keells Logistics as a Finance Executive, and was later promoted to Senior Finance Executive Cum Data Analyst. In 2020, they became an Accountant at Wem & Co Chartered Accountants, where they gained exposure to Xero and Quick Books. In 2021, they were promoted to Head of Finance at Care Hires, where they had additional responsibilities such as re forecasting, budgeting, Monthly data analysis, profitability analysis, and more.

Eranda Vidanage has an extensive educational background. In 2008, they obtained their Advance Level from D. S. Senanayake College in Business/Commerce, General. In 2009-2013, they attended AAT and obtained their MAAT in Accounting and Finance. In 2014, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and obtained additional qualifications in Accounting and Finance. From 2018-2019, they attended the University of Bedfordshire and obtained their Master of Business Administration - MBA in Finance. Currently, they are attending CIMA and is expected to obtain their ACMA in Accounting and Business/Management by 2022. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in QuickBooks Pro Advisor and Xero Advisor in 2020.
