Joe Dewhirst

Joe Dewhirst serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the RI Health and Educational Building Corporation since July 2017, having been a board member since August 2016. Joe is also a member of the Investment Committee at Care New England and has been on the Board of Directors at Blithewold Mansion & Garden, where Joe holds the position of Treasurer since July 2016. Additionally, Joe participates in the Finance Committee of the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank from October 2015 to March 2016, and as Group EVP and Treasurer at Citizens Bank until May 2014, as well as treasurer at Bank of America for a year. Joe holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Social Relations, both from Harvard University, and has an educational foundation from Fairfield Prep.
