Lisa Centeno

Lisa Centeno has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of addiction services and healthcare. Lisa currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Addiction Services at Care Plus NJ since June 2023. Prior to this, Lisa worked as a Counselor Speaker at Alkermes from August 2017. Lisa also served as the Administrative Director Integration of Care at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center from September 2021 to June 2023, and as the Senior Director of Addiction Services from January 2018 to September 2021 in the same organization. Lisa's previous roles include Clinical Supervisor Teen T.H.R.I.V.E. at Bergen Regional Medical Center from September 2013 to December 2017, Outpatient Adolescent Supervisor at Hoboken University Medical Center from August 2009 to September 2013, Adolescent & Adult Substance Abuse Counselor at Hoboken University Medical Center (Giant Steps) from July 2007 to July 2009, Adolescent Substance Abuse Counselor at Christ Hospital from April 2007 to April 2009, and Detention Alternative Resource Coordinator at Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services from September 2005 to April 2007.

Lisa Centeno earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1999-2005. Lisa then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from New Jersey City University in 2009-2014. In addition to their degrees, Lisa obtained certifications as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor from the Division of Consumer Affairs in 2014 and as a Certified Clinical Supervisor from the Certification Board of Alcohol and Drugs NJ in 2016.
