Expert By Experience at Care Quality Commission

Peter Young is a peer support worker at Southdown, with extensive experience in various roles that emphasize user involvement and education in the mental health sector. Currently serving as an expert by experience for the Care Quality Commission and the University of Bedfordshire, Peter contributes to social work courses through guest lectures, candidate interviews, and teaching. As a KUF trainer at West London NHS Trust, Peter co-facilitates training on personality disorders, while also serving as a service user consultant to educate students about Broadmoor hospital and supporting staff induction programs.
