Tun Aung

Tun Aung is a seasoned consultant physician specializing in acute geriatric medicine and frailty, currently serving as a Consultant Specialist Advisor at NICE and as Clinical Lead for the Department of Frailty and Ageing at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. With extensive involvement in medical education, Tun Aung holds numerous roles within the Royal College of Physicians, including Censor and Regional Advisor, while also contributing as an honorary clinical senior lecturer at Hull York Medical School. A recognized leader in healthcare policy and training, Tun Aung has served as a Specialist Advisor for the Care Quality Commission and held pivotal positions within the British Geriatrics Society, including Chair of the England Council.
