Thomas A. Smith

Thomas A. Smith, PhD has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Thomas A. began their career as a Senior Case Manager at Mercy Hospital in 1996 and later transitioned to become an Organizational Development Specialist. In 2006, they became an Independent Real Estate Investor before joining Community AIDS Resource, Inc. in 2009 as the Psychosocial Services Supervisor. Thomas A. also worked as a Psychotherapist and eventually became the Director of Behavioral Health Services at Community AIDS Resource. In addition to their roles in the healthcare sector, Thomas has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Barry University and Nova Southeastern University.

Thomas A. Smith, PhD received their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Worcester State College in 1990. Thomas A. then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University in 1996. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Barry University in 2012.
