Ben Skinner currently serves as the Club President of the BYU Spacecraft Club, collaborating with a team of five Vice Presidents and other officers to enhance club operations. Ben has experience leading a small team in designing and building a circuit board for a Femto Satellite project that successfully transmitted data during a model rocket launch. As an intern at Care Weather since January 2024, Ben has continued to develop professional skills. Previous roles include teaching Spanish at the Missionary Training Center and participating in a student launch competition with BYU Rocketry, where Ben's team designed a rocket that achieved an impressive altitude of 1,700 feet. Ben’s background includes prior work as an Automotive Technician at Jiffy Lube International and as a Snowboard Instructor at Summit at Snoqualmie. Ben is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Brigham Young University, following a solid academic foundation at Pierce College and Steilacoom High School.
