Emily Janoch

Emily Janoch serves as the Associate Vice President for Thought Leadership and Design at CARE since July 2011, where the focus includes leveraging local expertise and real-time evidence to enhance impact at various levels, particularly in women's empowerment and development efforts. Previously, Emily held multiple leadership roles within CARE, including Senior Director and Director of Knowledge Management and Learning, overseeing efforts across numerous global projects. Prior experience includes work as a Technical Advisor at GROUPE PIVOT/SANTE POPULATION, as well as roles in CARE Mali and the US Peace Corps, emphasizing knowledge management, capacity building, and health education. Emily holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and an AB with Honors in International Studies from the University of Chicago.
