Feven Mekuria has extensive experience in health program management and academic leadership. As the Medical College Dean and Training Coordinator at Bethzatha College of Health Sciences from 2005 to 2006, Feven coordinated academic program planning and initiated joint research activities. From 2009 to 2014, Feven served as the Health Program Coordinator at CARE Ethiopia, overseeing a substantial health and nutrition program portfolio. Since 2014, Feven has been a Senior Advisor for the global Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) program at CARE USA, leading the development of a global implementation manual focused on gender equity. Previous roles include Senior Technical Advisor for Community Health Systems at CARE and clinical practice at Yirgalem Regional Hospital. Feven holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck and a Doctor of Medicine from Jimma University.
