Claire Kerr has been working in the field of digital philanthropy for over two decades. In 1999, they began their career as a Project Officer for Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, where they were responsible for the design, coding, and maintenance of several bilingual HRDC Intranet web sites. In 2001, they became a Content Developer for Women and Rural Economic Development, directing the development of the user interface and architecture for entrewomen.ca. From 2003 to 2006, they were a Technical Advisor for The Learning Partnership, facilitating interactive spaces and producing promotional videos. Claire then joined SickKids Foundation as a New Media Editor, managing online donations and analyzing donor metrics. In 2008, they moved to Artez Interactive as a Client Delight Special Projects Manager, providing consulting in best practices for digital fundraising. In 2010, they became Director of Digital Philanthropy at FrontStream, leading the creation of digital experiences, print collateral, online advertising, events, and conference participation. Finally, in 2019, they became Director of Canada for Care2.
Claire Kerr obtained a BA in Claire'story from the University of Waterloo - St. Jerome's University. Claire then attended Humber College and completed a program in Interactive Multimedia in 2003. In 2019, they obtained a Teaching and Training Adults Certificate from George Brown College.
