Munish served as the Chief Medical Officer and Lead of Clinical Innovation at Altruista Health from October 2016 to April 2021. Munish was a member of the Business Development Committee at Primary Care Development Corporation (PCDC) from September 2017 to July 2019. Munish served as a Board Member of Cross Island YMCA from September 2017 to March 2019. Munish also worked as the VP of Medical Management and Pharmacy Operations at EmblemHealth from October 2014 to September 2016 and as the Senior VP and Chief Medical Officer at Affinity Health Plan from January 2006 to October 2014. Munish K. obtained a Regents Diploma from Stuyvesant High School in 1990. From 1990 to 1994, they pursued a BA degree in Arts at Brooklyn College. Following this, Munish attended the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University from 1993 to 1997, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine. Munish then pursued further education at Columbia University, where they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Business Administration and Management from 2001 to 2003. Later, in 2007 and 2008, they completed the AMIA 10x10 Health Information Technology program at Oregon State University, specializing in Medical Informatics.
