Megan Baker

Megan Baker serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Interim President & Chief Operating Officer at Roper St. Francis Healthcare, bringing extensive experience in medical leadership. Previously, Megan held the position of Medical Director for the Clinical Research Department and served as a Physician at Roper Physician Partners. At Roper St. Francis Healthcare, Megan was also the Medical Director of Surgery and Perioperative Integrated Practice Network and Co-Director of Roper St. Francis Breast Care. In an academic role, Megan is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina, where additional duties included Medical Director of the Hollings Cancer Center Genetics Program and Interim Chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology. Education credentials include Administrative Chief Resident in General Surgery and a Residency in General Surgery, both completed at the Medical University of South Carolina.
