Sandy Santangelo, BSN, RN, currently serves as the Sr. Clinical Quality Manager for Value Based Programs at CareAllies since March 2016. With a comprehensive background in quality management, Sandy previously held the position of Director of Quality Management at QualCare Inc. from June 2015 to May 2022, coordinating survey activities to maintain accreditation and chairing the Continuous Quality Improvement Committee. Experience also includes roles such as Director of Quality and Product Development at Proven Healthcare Solutions and Healthcare Consultant at Milliman, Inc., focusing on medical management processes and evidence-based analysis. Sandy's early career includes management of Utilization Management Appeals at Horizon BlueCross BlueShield and various leadership roles at CareAdvantage, Inc., along with hands-on nursing experience in oncology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bloomfield College.
